Crypto Market Dips Marginally  

The global crypto market declined marginally on Thursday. The total market cap was down by 1.88 per cent to $2.36 trillion even though the total trading volume was also down by 22.18 per cent to $76 billion. Bitcoin BTC was the most trending. It was down by 2.20 per cent to $64,459.81. Its 24-hour trading volume was $30.77 million.

Lido DAO LDO was the top gainer. It was up by 5.20 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $218.11 million. Mog Coin MOG was the top loser. It was down by 9.09 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $30.65 million.

DeFi was down by 1.04 per cent to $4.64 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Rajagopal Menon, VP, WazirX said, “Bitcoin (BTC) has unexpectedly fallen in the past 24 hours after a recent rally. Analysts cite a potential liquidity crunch in the stablecoin market as a contributing factor. Additionally, market sentiment weakened following Peter Schiff’s preference for gold over Bitcoin.”

He further added, “The market has been highly volatile since the start of 2024, keeping investors wary. However, clarity on forthcoming interest rate cuts could offer some relief in the near term.”

“In other news, Ethereum (ETH) has remained stable above the $3,400 resistance zone, retesting $3,500 but struggling to break higher. A key bullish trend line with support at $3,350 is forming on the hourly ETH/USD chart.”

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was down by 2.20 per cent to $64,459.81. Its 24-hour trading volume was 30.77 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 53.9 per cent.

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was down by 2.54 per cent to $3,412.67 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $16.04 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 17.5 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $1.00. It was up by 0.02 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $59.27 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana SOL was down by 2.96 per cent to $157.33. Its 24-hour trading volume was $2.15 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $27.55, down by 4.68 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $329.38 million.

Cardano ADA was down by 2.38 per cent to $0.438 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $363.51 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin DOGE was down by 2.75 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.1225.

Shiba Inu SHIB was up by 4.29 per cent to $0.00001873.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi coin was trading at $0.03709, down by 2.58 per cent.

Yearn.Finance YFI was up by 0.25 per cent to $6,117.34 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $16.88 million.
